Our team consist of two long time friends and co workers, with close to 10 years experience. First Step has taken the necessary steps to make sure your floor will not only look great but maintain the finish for years to come. OUR SERVICES
Sanding
Refining and leveling your timber floors to ensure a professional finish.
Polishing
Sanding: Removes existing finishes to reveal bare timber. Our three-coat system provides a natural, finished look.
Recoating: Refreshes existing finishes by removing scratches, paint spots, and other surface imperfections. You can choose your desired finish.
Repairs
Replacing or adding colour matched timber boards to ensure your floor is uniform and maintain the strength of your floor.
Installations
Installing natural or engineered timber flooring.
Re-coats
Sanding back the top layer of polish and applying an extra coat to fix minor surface scratches and refresh finish.
Staircases/Steps
Sanding or steps to remove old coatings and applying new anti slip coating.
Stains
Staining is the process of changing the colour of your timber floor.
Parquetry
Gluing, Replacing and sanding of block parquetry timber floors.
Beading
Installing beading to give a finished look to your floors and walls. Also adding extra insulation and reducing the chance of pests coming from under the house.
Carpet/floor covering removal
Removal and dumping of old floor coverings or carpet that may be in the way of your timber floors.
